The man who was very confident about his victory at UFC 114 and who claimed that he had worked very hard for that fight lost Saturday night. Quinton Rampage Jackson was defeated by Rashad Evans via a unanimous decision. After the fight, Rampage talked to the press members and told that he was not expecting that kind of game by his rival. He confessed that Evan was better than him and it was his day. He said the speed with which Evan attacked him was difficult to handle for him and he clearly outclassed him in the ring. He also congratulated Evan for winning the fight.
Winning champion Evan said that he was happy at his victory. Evan has a fabulous fighting record and his record shows him as the champion of the game. He won 20 fights, lost 1 while one ended without any decision. Earlier, before starting this fight, he said that he was fully prepared for that fight but it was just another fight for him and he was not making any particular special reparations for that while Jackson had told that it was a very important fight for him and he had done work hard for that. Evan was impressed with the Jackson’s stamina and technique and said that he had actually put him in difficulty at the end of the game when Jackson dropped Evans with a right hand in the third and final round. The match score was 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28.
