According to reports Andrew Koppel the son of TV newsman Ted Koppel has died at the age of 40. Andrew Koppel died in New York City after daylong drinking.
On Tuesday he was found in an apartment and that time he was unconscious. He was not breathing. Police responded a 911 call and when they reached at the scene he was pronounced dead. Someone made the call at around 1:40 a.m.
Andrew Koppel was living in Queens with his girlfriend and daughter. According to report he was drinking at a bar in Hell’s Kitchen. It was also said that he was at the bar and was drinking with Russell Wimberly, a 32-year-old waiter whom he met first time in the bar and after all day drinking both of them came to his flat where Andrew Koppel told his friend and the waiter, he was not feeling well. After sometime he was not breathing so they called 911.
The exact cause of his death has not been announced yet. Andrew Koppel was serving as an attorney for the city Housing Authority.
Belinda Caban told that he was not looking well and his complexion was not right. It was so much pale. Belinda Caban also lives at the same apartment.
American broadcast journalist, Edward James “Ted” Koppel is best known for Nightline. He served as a show anchor from 1980 till late 2005. Before resigning in 2008 he also served as managing editor for the Discovery Channel. Andrew Koppel was the only son of Ted Koppel.
