The National Basketball association has its competitions going on these days. The Cleveland Cavaliers were anticipating a victory in this season. Regretfully they lost their match against Boston in the Eastern conference semi finals. Their general manager Danny Ferry was really upset from the loss. He decided to resign from his designation and on fourth of June he resigned. He took this decision as he thought that the Cavaliers were not being turned around the way he thought them to be. The former coach of the team was fired two weeks back. Danny Ferry was not satisfied on this decision. He wanted him to coach the team, and he believes that the loss in the Eastern Conference semi finals was due to firing Mike Brown. Danny Ferry had some clashes with the new owner of the team Mr. Dan Gilbert. Ferry was going to retire by the end off this month but he decided to retire earlier as he felt that his views and decisions were not being followed by the owner. Gilbert wanted to run the show the way he wants and was not giving proper weight age to Ferry.
In his career as a basketball player Ferry has been wonderful. He is remembered by the Dukes as one of the greatest athletes they have ever had. He had a great college level career, after that he went to the Italian league and started off his professional career as a basketball player. Later on he joined the Clippers. Later on he played for Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs.
