McDonalds Shrek Glass Recall

It was a sudden recall made by the American fast food restaurant to recall its collector’s edition Shrek glasses from all its chains nationwide. The American restaurant found out that the Shrek theme glasses were having some sort of chemical called cadmium which was quite dangerous for the kids. The McDonalds Shrek glass recall took place after the united States consumer products safety issued the statement that the glasses were not safe to use. The McDonalds Shrek glass recall included around twelve million glasses from restaurants throughout the United States. The American restaurant said that they will soon release a note on their official website for the refund and people are advised to give their glasses back to the restaurant and get their refunds.

The McDonalds Shrek glass recall was worth two dollars and had come in three four different designs. The glass had the characters of the Shrek the family printed on the front. The collector’s edition glass could hold sixteen oz and the restaurant was running a movie promotion which included these glasses. The new Shrek movie which is known as Shrek after forever is very famous among the kids and was very eager to get their hands on the collectibles. The chemical included in the glass could affect the bones and the kidney if they kids which was dangerous for their growth. The company is looking to recall their glasses which will not harm the kids now. The kids have to wait until the issue clears down and the restaurant start rolling its new line of glasses later.
