On the Memorial Day 2010, the SAMC welcomed a new member and it is non other but a three time Iraq tour survivor and leader, Holly Burke. Holly Burke achieved one of the greatest honors which an NCO can achieve.
Memorial Day is a day to honor the military people who lost their lives and everything for serving the country. Burke’s dream came true because according to Burke the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club is “something she has always aspired to.” She never expected to get it in the first try and she studied for this for a year. Military organization SAMC honored the finest man and woman who ever serve for the country. SAMC is named after WWII era Sergeant Audie Murphy.
