The crash accident at the Texas speedway motor track left Simona de Silvestro with a burned arm. The fans were shocked to see the blazing fire in the cockpit of the car on Saturday and Simona de Silvestro been trying to save herself from the fire. The Indy car driver made an effort to get away from the burning cockpit and managed to save her life. The fire could have taken her in but she pulled her self out. The emergency crew reached the driver and took her for medical treatment. Simona de Silvestro had a smile on her face after she came out and said that she was fine but with a burned hand. She was driving car number seventy eight and the driver came out of the car with fire on her arm which would let go of her. She later said that she wasn’t able to get out of the car quickly and couldn’t have waited for someone to help her. She said that she will be quite ready to join the next race. Such race track incidents are common but are a part of the race track.
She was a driver from Switzerland and has been racing since 2005. It was her debut race at the Indy car series and it deliberately went wrong. She has won the Indianapolis 500 rookie of the year award this year. The fans had great expectations but she will surely perform later in the race. The fans shouldn’t worry because she is in perfect condition with minor injuries.
