Guatemala Sink Hole

A massive sinkhole is produced in Guatemala City after Tropical Storm Agatha. Two nations of Central America, Guatemala and El Salvador are in great difficulty nowadays as storm has damaged everything there leaving behind debris and garbage. This mighty sinkhole is produced in a street in capital Guatemala City and reportedly, the hole is larger than the intersection of street. One man is died in this sinkhole that is approximately 200ft deep.

Many people evacuated the area after storm smashed city with its powers. Those, who could not make a move out of area, are bound to live here in miserable conditions where nothing is available to eat and drink. Many houses have been broken and poor owners are sitting on them with sad faces. Their economy and business have been ruined. The coffee crop that was the main source of income for villagers is also ruined and now they did not know that how they would earn their livelihood.

At least 146 people have been died in the storm while Guatemala’s President Alvaro Colom reported 123 people were dead and 90 others missing. These are the provisional numbers and death toll is expected to increase with far distant areas reports which are still to come. The government is to request international community to help them in the hours of need. American government has granted $113,000 for relief efforts. More than 94,000 people are hurt of this storm. Guatemala International Airport is closed for unknown time period. The rescue teams have started their work and they are searching for wounded and dead people.
